Opening - Saint-Exupéry, aviator author of The Little Prince

A l’occasion des 80 ans de la parution du Petit Prince, l’Alliance Française d’Amsterdam a le plaisir d’accueillir l’exposition “Saint-Exupéry, aviateur auteur du Petit Prince" du 3 octobre au 30 novembre à Oba Oosterdok.

L’exposition propose une sélection de planches illustrées, réalisées par Cédric Fernandez pour une bande dessinée dédiée à la vie de Saint-Exupéry.  

Une masterclass spéciale avec l’artiste-illustrateur Cédric Fernandez aura lieu vendredi 6 octobre. Elle sera suivie de l'inauguration officielle de l'exposition en présence de l’Ambassadeur de France aux Pays-Bas, François Alabrune. Une séance de dédicaces du livre illustré sur Saint-Exupéry se tiendra durant le cocktail d'inauguration.

To mark the 80th anniversary of the publication of The Little Prince, the Alliance Française d'Amsterdam is delighted to be hosting the exhibition "Saint-Exupéry, aviateur auteur du Petit Prince" from 3 October to 30 November at Oba Oosterdok.

The exhibition features a selection of illustrated plates created by Cédric Fernandez for a comic strip dedicated to the life of Saint-Exupéry.

A special masterclass with artist-illustrator Cédric Fernandez will be held on Friday 6 October. It will be followed by the official opening of the exhibition in the presence of the French Ambassador to the Netherlands, François Alabrune. A book signing of the illustrated book on Saint-Exupéry will take place during the opening cocktail.

Ter gelegenheid van de 80e verjaardag van de publicatie van De Kleine Prins organiseert de Alliance Française d'Amsterdam van 3 oktober tot en met 30 november in Oba Oosterdok de tentoonstelling tentoonstelling "Saint-Exupéry, aviateur auteur du Petit Prince" van 3 oktober tot 30 november in Oba Oosterdok.

De tentoonstelling toont een selectie van geïllustreerde platen gemaakt door Cédric Fernandez voor een stripverhaal gewijd aan het leven van Saint-Exupéry.

Op vrijdag 6 oktober is er een speciale masterclass met tekenaar-illustrator Cédric Fernandez. Daarna volgt de officiële opening van de tentoonstelling in aanwezigheid van de Franse ambassadeur in Nederland, François Alabrune. Een signeersessie van het geïllustreerde boek over Saint-Exupéry tijdens de openingscocktail.
